Want a tiny, free photo viewer that also crops, fixes red-eye and batch-renames? FreeVimager is a fast Windows viewer with lossless JPEG rotation, metadata editing, batch tools and multi-page scanning.
Image viewing and supported formats
FreeVimager displays JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, PNG, PCX, and EMF images. Animated GIFs and multi-page TIFFs are supported, as are transparency in PNG files. HEIC, WebP, AVIF, and JXR files can be viewed, but not edited in the program.
Full-screen viewing supports multiple monitors, with a context-menu command or the Tab key for switching displays. Touch gestures can zoom in and out or move between pictures. The viewer can also show an image's location on Google Maps when location data is available.
Picture edits and metadata
The editing tools cover rotation, cropping, resizing, sharpening, and adjustments to brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue. A full-size preview is available for the color adjustments, and the red-eye removal tool can be configured. JPEG rotation and cropping can be performed losslessly.
