Build artwork for the disc

Create a label design for a 12 cm or 8 cm CD or DVD. The editor is centered on disc artwork, so its work area corresponds to the printable surface instead of a sheet of paper. Add visual elements and position them within the circular layout before sending the design to print.

Use discs marked as printable for inkjet printers. The 8 cm format needs the printer’s matching adapter and tray arrangement; the 12 cm format sits directly in the disc tray.

Align the print with the disc

If the printed image sits off-center, adjust its position in Epson Print CD and print again. The alignment control addresses the fit between the design and the disc’s printable area.

Color saturation is another setting to tune when ink smears or leaves the printed surface tacky. Lowering saturation reduces the amount of ink applied. Let a fresh print dry fully before handling it.

Choose print settings

Select the Epson printer and choose CD/DVD as the paper type in the print dialog. For supported high-quality printable media, the premium CD/DVD surface option provides a separate quality setting; prints made with that option take longer to dry.
