Contacts, messages, calendars, and phone files appear on a Windows PC after MyPhoneExplorer connects to an Android phone. The desktop program also syncs phone data with supported organizers and can mirror and control the phone from the computer.
Connect the phone and open its data
Pair an Android phone with the PC over Wi-Fi, USB cable, or Bluetooth. MyPhoneExplorer then provides desktop views for the phonebook, calendar, SMS and MMS messages, files, and call logs. A PC keyboard can also send text to the phone, and the desktop can display notifications or accept and control calls.
The phone’s clipboard is accessible from the computer. Screen mirroring adds a view of the phone on the desktop, with remote control available from that view.
Sync phone data with a desktop organizer
MyPhoneExplorer syncs phone data with several external targets, including Outlook, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Lotus Notes, and Tobit David. It also supports vCard and iCalendar files, Fritz!Box, and its own sync database, which can keep multiple phones in sync.
Before changing phone or database records, the program shows the planned sync actions. This preview gives users a chance to see what is about to be transferred or updated.
Back up files and keep folders aligned
A backup wizard handles phone backups, while Photo-Sync transfers photos to the PC in one action. File-Sync can keep entire folder structures synchronized, with settings for tailoring the transfer. The file browser also provides direct access to phone files.
Use calendar holiday files
Calendar holiday data can be supplied in .dat files. Each line defines a holiday name, whether it is an official market-closing holiday, and a date expression. Date expressions support fixed dates and Easter-based dates, with optional day offsets and weekday rules. Save a country file in the program’s holiday folder, then choose it in the options dialog.
