Want to play local videos and browse streaming libraries from one Windows player? Zoom Player MAX combines media playback with a customizable interface, a media library, and controls for both local and online content.
Smart Play and media formats
Smart Play selects decoding and playback components for the media being opened. Zoom Player MAX supports a broad range of audio, video, and streaming formats, including older media; hardware-accelerated 4K HDR decoding is also supported. Playback options include chapter navigation, bookmarks, an equalizer, and a playlist editor.
Media library and streaming
The media library organizes local and online content, with scraped artwork and editable metadata. Home Theater views include jukebox-style displays for movie and TV collections, showing details such as descriptions, actors, and genres.
For online browsing, Zoom Player MAX can connect to media servers such as Plex, Emby, and Jellyfin. Streaming options also include YouTube, radio, and an electronic program guide for live TV.
Interface and playback controls
Choose which items appear in the on-screen control overlay, including the timeline, volume bar, buttons, and title text. The interface can be adjusted with options for size, color, and transparency, and the player offers modern and classic interface layouts.
Playback can be controlled with a keyboard, mouse, or remote control. Keyboard shortcuts and other controls are customizable; additional control methods include game controllers, command-line control, and TCP/IP.
