Profiles and scheduled backups
Create a profile for a particular backup or synchronization task, choose the data to process and where to save it, then set a schedule. Profiles can run automatically, and SyncBack’s Scheduler Monitor Service can alert you to a problem with a scheduled task.
A profile can also be set to retain older file versions. Choose how many previous copies to keep or how long to retain them. Versioning works with destinations including FTP, NAS drives, and SyncBack Touch.
How does SyncBack SE handle synchronization?
Synchronization settings let you define what happens when files differ between the two locations. Set responses for modified or deleted files, newly added files, and files with no change.

Compression and recovery
SyncBack SE includes compression alongside its backup and synchronization tools. Backups can preserve earlier file versions, so a later run does not have to erase every older copy. Profiles can also be used to restore files when they need to be recovered.
The edition supports scheduled work and versioning, but it does not include SFTP. That connection option is reserved for SyncBackPro.
