The main window arranges the photo queue alongside controls for timing, transitions, audio, and output. IceCream Slideshow Maker lets you drag in images and music, arrange slides, preview the result, and export a video.
Arrange photos and set slide timing
Drag photos into the queue, then reorder them by hand or sort them alphabetically. A shuffle option randomizes the order. Set how long each slide and transition stays on screen, or apply timing changes to all queued slides with the bulk settings.
The built-in player previews the complete slideshow or a selected slide, with changes available to preview as you edit. Transition choices include effects such as crossfade, fade to black, zoom out, flip, and checkerboard; a random transition option can vary the sequence.
Add music and customize slide text
Add MP3, M4A, or WAV files as background music. Multiple tracks can form a playlist for a longer slideshow, and audio files can be dragged into the project.
Text overlays can be tailored by changing the font, color, position, background color, and animation. These settings let you add captions or comments to individual slides.
Export and revisit slideshow projects
Choose an output resolution for the video, including 4K, then create a slideshow from the photo sequence, music, and effects. The program also provides options to upload finished videos to Google Drive, YouTube, or Dropbox, and to burn them to DVD.
A History panel provides access to earlier slideshow projects for further edits. The program restores the previous project when launched, so a longer sequence can be resumed later. A loop setting controls how many times a slideshow video repeats during playback.
