Electrical layouts
Choose a predefined room type and equipment setup, or make a custom template. The assistant analyzes rooms and proposes locations for electrical fittings; you can then move, rotate, or adjust each symbol. A generated parts list records the electrical components used in the design.
Custom electrical symbols can be added from directories, and the dedicated symbol layer can be shown or hidden as a group. This keeps the electrical plan distinct from the rest of the building drawing.
Plan, section, and 3D views
Work on a floor plan and inspect the project in 3D or in cross-section. These views reveal how the arrangement fits together and make it easier to spot missing elements or areas that need revision. The built-in object catalog supplies building components, materials, textures, and symbols for placing details in the design.
- Add doors, windows, balconies, carports, and sanitary or electrical fixtures from the catalog.
- Import additional objects in SketchUp or Collada formats.
- Door layouts can include sliding doors on tracks and off-center wall openings.
Area reports and building edits
Area analysis covers living space as well as floors, walls, ceilings, and facades. Facade calculations can be exported as PDF, RTF, or Excel files, and window position lists are available for project documentation.
Wall-editing assistants handle changes to wall structures, including modifying or transferring wall layers. Projects can also be reorganized by copying buildings between projects or moving floors between buildings and projects.
Roof and photovoltaic planning
Set up photovoltaic arrays for roof-mounted systems by picking panels from the catalog and arranging them on the roof. For flat roofs, mark the areas intended for panels; the installation can then be placed as a group, with row spacing and alignment adjusted. Roof-design and terrain-modeling assistants support other parts of the building plan.
