When a folder contains camera photos, screenshots, and other image files, WildBit Viewer lets you browse them in a thumbnail view or open them individually. The program combines image viewing with a slideshow, search, comparison tools, and an editor.
How does the thumbnail browser organize image folders?
WildBit Viewer includes a folder browser, file list, and thumbnail view for navigating local images. Thumbnail views can be changed, sorted, and set to predefined sizes, so a folder can be scanned visually or arranged to suit the images being reviewed.
A shell toolbar provides a place to drop favorite folders for quick access. The Viewer also displays image information, including EXIF metadata and IPTC information for JPEG and TIFF files.
How can you compare images or make a slideshow?
The compare feature places two images side by side, which makes it easier to inspect differences between similar shots or versions. Favorite images can be saved as a list and loaded again later.
For a presentation, the Slide Show tool lets you create a custom image sequence and edit it with the Custom Show List Editor. It includes 176 transition effects, supports multiple monitors, and can be controlled remotely with Slide Show Remote.
What can the editor and search tools do?
The included Editor offers color adjustments, curves, color matching, frame masks, effects, and red-eye removal. It also has layers and more than 100 built-in vector shapes, along with visual comparison tools.
Search can find images using rules based on EXIF, IPTC, and XMP metadata. WildBit Viewer supports more than 70 graphic formats.
Which screens are included?
Besides the main viewer for browsing and display, the package has separate windows for slideshows, editing, metadata search and showing images across several monitors, plus a profile switcher.
