Decks, waveforms, and cues
DEX provides four decks for mixing, with interactive waveform displays for following tracks and aligning beats. Load tracks from the library onto a deck, set hot cues for points to return to, and use beat-aware loops to extend a passage. Beat sync and quantized effects keep timing tied to the music during a mix.
Controller and MIDI support adds hands-on control for actions such as adjusting tempo, triggering cues, and working the decks. The interface also supports mixing video alongside audio, so music-video playback can be part of the same set.
Library and streaming
The central library is designed for managing large collections and finding a track to load during a performance. DEX also integrates music services, including TIDAL, SoundCloud Go+, and Beatport or Beatsource LINK, for DJs with access to those subscriptions.
