Like the Mac dock and want one on a PC? Nexus Dock keeps frequently used apps, files, folders and commands in a launcher along the screen edge. You can add items by dragging them from File Explorer, the desktop, or the Start menu, then open them with a click.
Add shortcuts and files to the dock
Drag applications, folders, and documents from File Explorer, the desktop, or the Windows Start menu. Drag a file onto an app's icon and it opens in that app, so a dock shortcut can also serve as a target for files.
Icons are customizable: drop a PNG, ICO, or TIF image onto a shortcut to change its image. Nexus can also display running applications in the dock, with options to group or filter them and set custom icons. The system tray can appear there as individual or grouped icons.
Use commands and modules from the dock
Built-in commands turn dock items into shortcuts for system actions. Examples include opening the Start menu, clearing out the Recycle Bin, putting the monitor to sleep, and controlling media playback.
- The clock module offers analog or digital displays and internet time synchronization.
- Weather and email modules put those checks in the dock.
- CPU, RAM, and network meters show system activity; meters can use gauges or histograms.

Organize larger collections with Nexus Ultimate
Nexus Ultimate adds organizational tools for collections that outgrow a single dock. Sub-docks group related items beneath a dock icon, while shelves use tabs to separate content. Drawers provide single-tab collections, and Grid Stacks open folder contents in a browsable grid.
These views can show folders and system locations, including the Desktop, Documents, Downloads, and Control Panel. Grid Stacks let you open and manage items in the displayed location. Ultimate also adds extra modules, including a calendar, battery monitor, moon-phase display, and disk meter.
