People who download large media files through torrents can add and manage transfers from one Windows app. Free Torrent Download accepts torrent files and URLs, then keeps the resulting downloads together in a list.
How do you add a torrent?
Use the main window to add a torrent from the computer or enter its URL. Each added torrent appears in the download list, where you can follow and manage it alongside other transfers.
The interface centers on adding and organizing torrents, with no complicated setup required to begin. The program is intended for multimedia downloads, and the source describes no built-in speed or file-size cap; actual transfer rates still depend on the torrent and network conditions.
Managing the download list
Free Torrent Download provides controls for individual items in the list. You can focus on a particular torrent, force another download, or remove an entry when it is no longer needed.
- Add multiple torrents to the same list
- Choose which listed download to manage
- Delete a torrent from the list
Startup and connection settings
An option launches Free Torrent Download when Windows starts, so the app is available during the next session. Connection controls include proxy configuration and settings for available ports, giving users options for how the client connects to torrent peers.
