Wondering what FlixiCam actually does before you install it? FlixiCam is a paid Windows and Mac tool that saves videos from streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube as MP4 or MKV files, which removes the services' copy protection.
Find a title in the built-in browser
FlixiCam includes a browser for searching supported streaming services and playing videos before downloading them. Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and YouTube are among the named services. Titles are found through a browser built into the program.
Choose a file format and playback options
Downloads can be saved in MP4 or MKV, with HD quality available. For Netflix videos, the program offers high-definition options up to 1080p. These files can be played offline with a compatible media player.
FlixiCam also provides choices for audio tracks and subtitles. Netflix downloads can retain original audio tracks, and subtitle modes can be selected to suit the viewing setup.
Queue several videos for download
Batch downloading lets you queue multiple videos instead of selecting each one as a separate task. Saving streams this way breaks the terms of service of Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon, which can lead to account suspension, and removing DRM is illegal in many countries, including the US and EU. The services' own apps offer legal offline downloads.
