The track and artist listings put independent releases in view, with full-track playback and playlist tools close at hand. Audius brings music discovery, listening, and artist pages together in a service built around creators sharing their work directly.
How do you find and play music?
Audius focuses discovery on tracks and creators. Browse music, visit artist pages, and follow artists whose releases you want to keep up with. Playback supports full tracks, so listeners can hear a release through instead of stopping at a preview.
The catalog is centered on music shared by independent artists. Audius also uses decentralized, blockchain-based technology as part of its approach to music distribution and creator control. That structure is part of the service’s design; the listening workflow remains focused on finding music and playing tracks.
Can you make playlists?
Yes. Add tracks to a playlist, give the collection a name, and remove songs as its focus changes. Playlists can be shared with other users, making them a way to group favorite tracks or build collections around a theme or mood.
What can artists do on Audius?
Creators can upload, manage, and distribute music on the platform. Artist pages give their releases a place listeners can visit, while following a creator makes it easier to return to their work. Audius is designed to let artists share music directly with listeners and maintain control over their catalog.
