Want your Galaxy phone's apps in a desktop-style window on your PC? Samsung DeX for Windows did exactly that over a USB cable. Samsung has since discontinued it: it does not work with phones on One UI 7 or later, and Samsung recommends Microsoft's Phone Link instead.
Connect a Galaxy phone to the PC
The app works with Galaxy phones running One UI 6 or earlier, connected to the computer by USB, and no longer receives technical support. Once connected, the phone’s DeX workspace appears on the PC, giving mobile apps a larger desktop-style view. The phone remains the source of the apps and content; DeX presents them in a workspace on the computer.

Does Samsung DeX for Windows still work?
