What can Jihosoft 4K Video Downloader do? It saves videos, playlists and channels from YouTube and many other sites in resolutions up to 8K, keeps subtitles as SRT files and converts audio to MP3. Most of those sites forbid downloading in their terms, so it suits your own or freely licensed videos.
Paste a video, playlist, or channel link
Single videos, whole playlists and channels can be saved.
The program supports high-resolution options, including 4K and 8K, as well as 360° VR video downloads. Supported sources named by the developer include YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Reddit, and Twitch.
Save captions or extract audio
When downloading YouTube videos, captions can be saved separately as SRT subtitle files. Jihosoft 4K Video Downloader also offers cover downloads alongside videos.
Audio can be saved as MP3 or M4A. The program can also download music from SoundCloud and MixCloud.
Convert videos and combine subtitles
The built-in converter handles downloaded or local video files, with formats including MP4, MOV, MKV, and AVI. This gives you an option to change a file's format when a player or editor does not accept the original.
A merge tool can burn SRT subtitles into a video. The free edition limits daily downloads and speed.
