The main window includes a Dead pixel locator section and controls for choosing a color mode and starting a repair cycle. Rizone Pixel Repair uses those tools to check LCD and LED screens for visible pixel problems, then directs changing colors at a selected spot.

Dead pixel locator

The locator helps find pixels that remain stuck on a particular color, as well as dead pixels. It can also make dust and dirt on the display easier to spot, so a mark on the screen is less likely to be mistaken for a pixel fault. This check is a first step: it points out a visible area to inspect before running the repair cycle.

A stuck pixel may still respond to color changes, while a dead pixel no longer responds. The distinction matters because the repair method relies on stimulating a pixel that can still change state.

Color-cycle repair window

After identifying a suspected stuck pixel, choose a color mode and select Go to start the repair. The program displays a dynamic window that cycles through colors; drag that window over the affected pixel to concentrate the activity at the target. The changing colors are intended to prompt a stuck pixel to resume switching normally.

The repair window is the central part of the workflow: locate the pixel, position the color-cycling area over it, and observe whether its appearance changes. Since the window can be moved, the rest of the screen does not need to be covered by the cycling effect.

  • Select a color mode, then start the cycle with Go.
  • Move the dynamic window onto the pixel being treated.

What the results mean

A stuck pixel may improve after exposure to changing colors, but recovery is not assured and may take more than one attempt. Some pixels may show a partial change; others may remain unchanged. The tool cannot revive a dead pixel, which does not respond to the color sequence.

The locator also helps distinguish a pixel issue from visible dust or dirt. Those marks can be identified during the screen check, but color cycling is intended for stuck pixels, not for cleaning the display or repairing other screen damage.

Pros

  • Dead pixel locator checks for stuck and dead pixels
  • Can reveal dust and dirt that resemble screen defects
  • Repair window can be positioned over a target pixel
  • Color mode selection starts a focused repair cycle

Cons

  • Color cycling does not guarantee that a stuck pixel will recover
  • Dead pixels cannot be repaired by the software

What does Rizone Pixel Repair do?

It locates visible stuck or dead pixels and runs a color-cycling repair window aimed at stuck pixels.

How do I run the repair cycle on a pixel?

Choose a color mode, select Go, then move the dynamic window over the suspected stuck pixel.

Can it repair a dead pixel?

No. A dead pixel does not respond to the changing colors used by the repair cycle.
