Bluetooth headphones keep dropping out, or a mouse won't pair after a Windows update? Intel's own Bluetooth driver package, version 24.70 from September 2026, often fixes this on laptops and PCs with Intel Wi-Fi cards, which carry the Bluetooth radio on the same chip.
Intel adapter support
The current package covers Intel's Wi-Fi 7 cards (BE200, BE201, BE202, BE211, BE213), the Wi-Fi 6 and 6E families (AX101, AX201, AX203, AX210, AX211, AX231, AX411) and the older 9260, 9461, 9462 and 9560. Cards such as the 8265, 3165 or 7265 are no longer in the newest release; use your PC maker's driver or an earlier Intel package for those.
Each release brings security fixes and stability improvements. Install it with Intel's setup file, or let Intel Driver & Support Assistant find it.

Once Bluetooth is available through the Intel adapter, the PC can connect to common wireless accessories, including:
- Keyboards, mice and pens
- Speakers, earbuds and headsets
- Game controllers
- Mobile devices
What happens after pairing?
Windows remembers Bluetooth devices after pairing. When a remembered accessory is powered on, it can reconnect automatically after the computer restarts. The driver supports the connection between Windows and the Intel Bluetooth chip; the accessory still needs to be turned on and within connection range.
