Movies, TV shows, live channels, and online videos can be explored from one Windows app, with watch progress syncing across signed-in devices. Stremio organizes discovery through its Discover and Board screens, while add-ons connect the app to content catalogs.
How do add-ons shape what appears?
Stremio’s add-on catalog is the starting point for connecting content sources. After installing add-ons, browse the Discover or Board screen to find movies, TV shows, web channels, sports, and TV channels. Stremio does not supply video content itself; what appears depends on the add-ons connected to the app.
Add-ons can also provide catalogs and other integrations. The app’s catalog is modular, so its available sources depend on the add-ons selected.
Where can you browse and organize shows?
Discover is for exploring available titles, while Board provides another view of content from installed add-ons. Stremio keeps a library and tracks viewing progress for an account, making it easier to pick up a show after switching devices. Search and title pages provide ways to find a program and inspect its details before watching.

Which links and devices can Stremio play or connect to?
Stremio supports magnet links and standard HTTP links, and torrent files can be opened by dragging them into the app. Chromecast support lets desktop or Android users cast to a compatible TV. Playback sources depend on the add-ons or links being used.
The cache setting can retain video data on the device for later viewing without a connection. This is separate from a dedicated offline-download feature.
