How does the wallpaper follow the day?

WinDynamicDesktop uses your location to set wallpaper timing around sunrise and sunset. When you enter a location, the program converts it to latitude and longitude for the schedule. The Microsoft Store app can use Windows location services if permission is granted.

A dynamic theme contains wallpaper images intended for different points in the day. WinDynamicDesktop cycles through those images on a 24-hour schedule, so the desktop changes as daylight shifts.

Which themes can you use?

The program includes macOS themes and supports themes shared online. You can also make a custom theme with the .ddw Theme Creator, then use it as the basis for your wallpaper schedule.
