Those who do not have a lot of technical knowledge will have to research and learn more about the terms, especially the more advanced ones relating to memory timings and chipsets.

As for the handling of the data, it does not offer much more than exporting to text files. For the users who are a bit more advanced and have to keep track of multiple computers, this might be a problem. However, at the end of the day, all of these facts simply reflect the targeted nature of CPU-Z. It is a lightweight program that is not burdened with many features. It can, therefore, provide a very simple and clean environment to work in.

The students who do probing for the system specs, the home users who are prepping the development of their PCs, or the technicians who carry out spot checks are the kinds of users that it mainly fits.

Using the program for anything other than supporting diagnostic suites or benchmarking tools is not its intention. The way it works and the role it plays are simply to provide a quick and trustworthy overview of the system components. In the situations where it is speed, portability, and accuracy that matter, rather than visual refinement, CPU-Z Portable still is a very practical and dependable choice.
